Refundable deposit (core charge) on exchange parts

For some parts – for example starters, alternators, brake calipers or injectors – the manufacturer charges a deposit that is refunded when the old part is returned.

How to recognise deposit parts

• VAG (Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda): the part number ends with "X".
• Mercedes-Benz: the part number ends with "80" or "90".
• Mitsubishi: the part number begins with "R".
• Ford, Opel, BMW and others: the part number shows no deposit; the information is in the electronic parts catalogue of the manufacturer.

When ordering

If you do not want to return the old part, please order the variant without deposit. If you order a deposit part, the price increases by the deposit amount, or the part number is replaced by the variant without deposit.
